In addition to seeking other revenue sources, agreements, and partnerships to conduct brownfields redevelopment activities, the Pima County Brownfields Program actively applies for available EPA brownfields community-wide assessment grant funding. Future County initiated EPA grant application efforts will primarily focus within established Community Development Target Areas where community needs and interests exist for eligible brownfields activities. These targeted communities have been identified to take advantage of available federal funding. Additionally, other areas, such as designated Infill Incentive Districts, may also seek application for EPA funding.
