Homeownership Programs:

A great barrier to homeownership for many families is to save sufficient funds for down payment and closing costs. In the past 10 years, Pima County’s Community Development and Neighborhood Conservation Department has assisted over 800 new homebuyers using a variety of federal, state and local resources.

There are four homeownership programs available to offer solutions for individuals seeking assistance in owning a home:

Downpayment Assistance Progams (HAP & ADDI)

Pima County Housing Trust Fund

Arizona Border Initiative

 

Nonprofit and For Profit Builder and Developer Programs:

There are three main programs that are offered to Nonprofit and For Profit builders and developers:

New Construction (In-fill and Subdivision Development)

General Obligation Affordable Housing Bond Funds / Housing Trust Fund

Pima County HOME Rental Development Program

 

Homeless and Special Needs Programs:

Homeless and Special Needs offers three main programs to meet the needs of its homeless and special needs individuals in Pima County. These programs include:

Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG)
